The Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Smart Adeyemi, has felicitated with Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his second six year in office.
Lawan in a statement he signed on Wednesday also congratulated members of the Kogi State Executive Council and the good people of the state.
His statement in full reads: “I congratulate the Governor of Kogi, His Excellency, Yahaya Bello, my brother, on his Sixth Anniversary in office.
“I also congratulate the members of Kogi State Executive Council and the good people of Kogi state on the sterling performance of the state government in the last six years.
“Your Excellency, you have been leading our state with commitment, integrity, honesty and great ideas. Your energy and dedication to duty have made you a great achiever and a blessing to our state.
“Your Excellency, your success particularly in providing infrastructure across the state, employment opportunities and supporting the Federal Government to improve the security situation, amongst others have been quite remarkable.
“All of us as indigenes of Kogi State should therefore continue to pray for the administration and to support the Governor in his commitment to improve the conditions of our people and sustain the positive trajectory of taking our dear state to the next level of development, growth and prosperity.
“Once again, accept my congratulations!”
