The North Central Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammed a.k.a Elephant, has said that a tsunami will sweep across the North Central zone and the presidency come 2023, with the party coming out victorious.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the North Central meeting of the party exco, in Abuja on Thursday, he declared that “It is now time for action. There is plenty of work to do to get Nigeria back on track and NNPP is not resting on its oars.
“NNPP commands huge membership in the country. The new NNPP North Central exco is here for action.
“I am assuring Nigerians that all hands are on deck to make sure that come 2023, the people’s party will not only take over the North Central, but will clinch power at the presidential and local government level throughout the country.”
He emphasized the need for the party in the zone to remain united in the mission to rescue Nigeria from poor leadership by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Muhammed reassured Nigerians that the North Central NNPP Stakeholders on their part would stay committed in the rescue mission, stressing: “We believe that by February 2023, we shall be victorious as a party and rescue our country, Nigeria.”
On the likelihood of some aggrieved members of APC and PDP coming to join the NNPP to actualize their dreams, the Zonal Chairman said the party’s doors are open to more members of the All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who are tired of the total misadventure of both APC and PDP in the zone.
He reiterated the NNPP position and philosophy to accord full accommodation and equal opportunities to all new entrants same as the old.
