Mayaki Of Kupa: Bukky Condoles With Family, Gov Bello

The Kogi West Senatorial District candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Muhammed Ibukun Abubakar Bukky, has mourned the passing of the first class traditional ruler of Kupa kingdom, Alhaji Muhammadu Kabir Isah.

The monarch died on Sunday after 43 years (1979 – 2022) on the throne.

In a message, made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Monday, Bukky condoled with the government and people of Kogi State and other family members of the Mayaki.

He said Etsu Isah’s voyage on earth was full of notable achievements and an epoch-making reign as a highly revered royal father.

Bukky who described him as a great leader, bridge builder and a skilled custodian of the tradition and culture of his people added that the Mayaki’s journey back to his ancestors shuts the curtain on a glorious era in Kupa kingdom.

He further said the Mayaki will be greatly missed across the nation for his wisdom, disposition to peace and unity and other patriotic traits which he daily exhibited.

“I commiserate with his family and the entire people of Kogi; I urge them to take solace in the fact that Etsu Isah lived a long and impactful life of service.”
