The FCT Minister of State, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu on Tuesday condoled with the All Progressives Congress, (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituecy, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye, as the three-day fidau prayer for his late father, Mallam Yunusa Aguye, who died on Sunday at the age of 101, held in Karara, Lokoja local government area of Kogi State.
The Minister was represented by Muhammed Salisu Dantala Aliyu, who led a high powered delegation to Aguye’s country home in Karara, where the prayer was held.
Amongst those on the Minister’s delegation include Islamic cleric and women groups.
The Minister while commiserating with the family, noted that the late Mallam Yunusa Aguye would be remembered for his unwavering supports, counsels, and encouragement to his children.
Dr Aliyu, while pointing out that his demise has created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill, enjoined the entire family to draw inspiration from the fact that he lived a fulfilled life.
She prayed for God to give the family members the fortitude to bear the loss and also grant the late Yunusa Aguye eternal rest.
