2023: Kogi ADC Reps Candidate Promises Better Representation

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), candidate for Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Umar Farouk Bakabe has vowed to offer good representation and good legislation if given the mandate in the forthcoming elections.

Bakabe made the plea on Sunday during an interview with a NationalWatch correspondent in Lokoja.

According to him voting for ADC in Lokoja/Kogi, federal constituency will certainly bring tremendous change and development to the people, “we will empower the teeming unemployed youths, attract support to the farmers, secure infrastructural development among others.“

“Our people require full and proper representation at the federal legislature for rapid growth in education, health, infrastructure, road construction, housing and many more. We promise to sponsor bills that will be for the growth and development of the youth, women and the elderly,” he said.

The House of Reps Candidate said as a youth who feels impacts of misgovernance and maladministration of the aged politicians, he is assuring members of his Constituency of adequate and quality representation if given the mandate.

He said as a true born Lokojan, who was born, trained and had established in Lokoja, he knowns where the shoe pinches and will definitely work on ways to ameliorate the suffering of his people by attarcting more Federal government presence into the area.

He enjoined youths and other residents of the area to create a movement and be hungry for power by obtaining their permanent voters card.

He appealed to Nigerians and residents of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituecy to vote for competency beyond party line.
