He said: “We need to go all out to persuade and convince electorates in our local government area to vote for our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), our presidential candidate and all other APC candidates in the forthcoming election.

“Today, we all witnessed the massive reception we gave to our candidate, Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

“Ours was unprecedented in the campaign train across the country.  That reception further showed everybody including the doubting Thomases that indeed Kogi State is Asiwaju’s territory.

“I want to seize this opportunity on behalf of our governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, to thank all the good people of Lokoja Local Government Area who came out to show solidarity to Asiwaju and his team when his campaign train berth at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.

“Tinubu’s excitement was loud with the reception and that has added to his confidence in the ruling party in the state to deliver the state to him in the next elections,” he added.
