The coming together of some eminent sons and daughters of Kogi State under the umbrella of Kogi Elders Forum from all intent and purposes is no doubt set to take the State to a greater heights.
Until recently, many have held to the wrong notion that Kogi State is a Peoples Democratic Party State, particularly that some persons from that Party contraption have held onto platforms that enables them take decisions for the state.
But with the coming together of the likes of
the Kogi Elders Forum under the Chairmanships of
Dr Sanusi Gamji, Sen. Dangana Ocheja , Admiral Jibril Usman (Rtd) former Chief of Naval Staff, Prof. Stephen Ocheni, Fmr Minister, Labour and Employment, men who have paid their dues serving the country meritoriously, it is bold to say that a new dawn has been opened for the people of Kogi State as witnessed with the contribution they made towards the success of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the State.
Others who are part of the Kogi State Elders Forum include; Col. Suleiman Babanawa Rtd, Mr. Dan Okolo, Prof. Isa Daniel, Maimuna Audu, AIG Iyaji Rtd , Hon Abdullahi Bello, Hon Abdullahi Sadiq, Hajia Mariam Ibrahim, Hon. Mohammed Sadiq, Chief Olowo Dollar, Hon Adeniyi Ayodele and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, one make bold to therefore State that the wisdom of this men with proven track record as well tested on all fronts would certainly be another value addition in moving the State to greater heights.
Dr. Gamji has over the years through his medical outreaches, philanthropic gestures, with scholarship for indigent students in the last two decades, made him a rallying point for the Central leaders in the Successful outing by the APC in the Presidential Election.
One thing you can’t take away from Dr. Gamji is his open door policy quality, a feat that has made him accessible, available to solving challenges, stands him out amongst the various shades and section of the Central Senatorial District.
The effort of this Kogi Central leaders who have emerged currently and entrusted with Leadership roles as is defined by Dr. Gamji have paid off with the current success recorded in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly Election in the State and Central Senatorial District, where Dr. Gamji rallied the leaders, by ensuring peaceful election with an unprecedented victory for APC.
Many are of the opinion that the sustainance of the Kogi Elders Forum under the leadership of Dr. Gamji, with the unquantifiable gains in Kogi Central will no doubt take the District and State to the next level.
One must however commend Dr. Gamji for providing that leadership. The coming together of this men with proven accomplishments, making the sacrifice to ensure peace and unity, above all, development can therefore not be overemphasized.
