NDE Commences Registration Of Unemployed Persons In Kogi

The National Directorate of Employment, NDE, has commenced registration of unemployed persons across the 21 local government areas of Kogi state.

The NDE Kogi State Coordinator, Mr Ibidun Abiodun Amos, made this known in a press statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja.

The statement said, “the state registration is scheduled to start on Monday 17th April to 5th May, 2023.

“The registration exercise will hold by 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily at the NDE state office along Gadumo for those living in Lokoja and it’s environs, while others are expected to register at their respective local government council secretariats.

According to the statement, the objective of the Programme is to enable the Federal Government to get full statistics of the unemployed in the country in order to make proper job plans for them.

It urged all applicants to come along with, Highest qualification, local government indegineship, valid means of identification (NIN), permanent home address and contact phone number are among the details required for the registration.

The statement appealed to all unemployed youths in Kogi state to use the advantage and register themselves in their respective local government areas to benefit from the programme.
