The Kogi Youth Vanguard (KYV) has declared support for the governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), Engr Olayinka Braimoh, in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
The group said the support for the philanthropist was due to the burden of the deplorable state of governance and its negative resultant effects on the welfare of the good people of Kogi State.
The Director General, KYV, Alhaji Yakubu Sulaiman, in a statement, said it has become imperative to, as a political association, endorse a candidate towards the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
Sulaiman said this has made the group to declare emphatically its endorsement and support for Braimoh, owing to his philanthropic gesture as well as his vast business acumen.
The Kogi Youth Vanguard is a youth oriented, gender balanced political association with the mandate of promoting good governance virtues and veritable representation of the people in the state and Nigeria at Large.
The group, however, expressed hope that Braimoh’s candidacy and emergence as governor will birth a new Kogi.
