Member representing Lokoja 1 state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Shehu Tijani Bin Ebaiya, rejoiced with Muslims faithful all over the world on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir.
The lawmaker urged Nigerians, most especially the Muslims to imbibe the lessons of the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim and work for the unity and peace of the nation.
He also rejoiced with the Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, all Kogites and particularly all the good people of Lokoja 1, saying that the Eid-el-Kabir comes with great lessons being a reminder of sacrifice everyone was expected to make.
According to him, the sacrifice is not only for spiritual fulfilment but also for the progress of mankind and development of the society, praying “Allah to grant us His grace to celebrate many of it in good health and wealth.”
“As we celebrate Eid-Kabir this year, I join Muslim faithful across the country to share in the felicity of this Festival. The Eid-el-Adha comes with significant lessons for mankind. It is a symbolic Islamic festival that is a constant reminder to us that, there will always be great rewards when we have long-lasting faith and perseverance in trying periods; diligence in prayers and tenacity in our belief.
“I felicitate Governor Yahaya Bello and all the entire people of Kogi State, particularly the good people of Lokoja 1 state constituency on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. May Allah (SWT) grant us His grace to celebrate many of it in good health and wealth,” Bin Ebaiya said.
