The Senate has constituted a six man Special Adhoc committee to investigate the long delay in the completion of the famous East-West Roads contract awarded for over two decades.
The Committee is chaired by Sen. Abdul Ningi, with Sen. Abubakar Ohere and four others to serve as members.
The Senate President while inaugurating the Committee asked them to be thorough and speedy in the completion of their assignment in view of the importance of the road.
Speaking, Sen. Abdul Ningi assured the Senate President of delivering within the time frame.
Similarly, Engr. Abubakar Ohere thanked the Senate President for finding him and others worthy to serve in the committee, promised to bring his wealth of experience to bear.
