Ahead of November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, the Kabba-Bunu chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), will on Monday inaugurate its Campaign Council.
Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja on Sunday, the Director General of the Council, Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi said the inauguration ceremony will come up today by 12 noon at Olonijola Event Center, Kabba.
Olayemi said all members of the campaign council are expected to be at the occasion, including the Kabba-Bunu critical stakeholders, Kogi state government political appointees, APC Local Government Excos as well as the 15 Wards Party Excos and all loyal party faithful.
He said the council will immediately holds its maiden meeting after the inauguration ceremony, stressing that the main agenda is to set up plans and templates for the campaign engagements.
He expressed confidence that the campaign council, when inaugurated, will mobilize winning votes for the APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo, on November 11.
Otunba Olayemi said the entire Kabba-Bunu local government will file out in their large numbers on election day to vote for Ododo and his running mate, Joel Oyibo Salifu.
