The Onyize of Ebira Land, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has expressed her heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Kogi State over the demise of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Majesty, Dr. Ado Ibrahim, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 94.

In a statement she personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Sunday, Aliyu said she was deeply saddened by the news of the death of the respected traditional ruler, who she described as a peace-loving, affable, and cerebral leader.

She said; “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

“On behalf of Myself, Family and Associates, I condole with good people of Kogi State on the painful loss of an Icon of Royalty, an Egalitarian Leader in every sense of the word, Our Royal Father, His Royal Majesty Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Ibrahim.

I sympathize with the Family on this irreparable loss. His Royal Majesty will be remembered by all as a humane and Honorable Monarch who blurred the lines of ethnicity and religion in the discharge of his duties.

Whilst hoping that The Almighty grant his family the fortitude to bear this painful exit, I pray that Allah forgives his shortcomings and grant him Al-Janatul Firdaus. Ameen.
