All progressives Congress (APC), Chieftain in Kogi State, Barrister Maimuna Eke Audu, has congratulated the Kogi State’s Governor- elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo on their emergence as Governor and Deputy Governor elect from the gubernatorial election conducted last Saturday, 11th November, 2023 in the State.
Barrister Audu said that the emergence of Ododo as Governor-elect is a confirmation of the yearnings and aspirations of Kogi people for a continuity of APC government.
Maimuna who is the daughter of late Prince Abubakar Audu said in a congratulatory message to the good people of Kogi State that the victory of Ododo is indeed a victory for the birthing of a new Kogi, where democratic dividends and tangible development are expected to prevail.
Barrister Audu in the message expressed confidence in the ability of the Governor-elect to change the rhetoric in Kogi State through human capital and Infrastructural development in all nooks and crannies of the State.
To her, Ododo’s intimidating credentials will in no distant time become manifest in the State.
She advised the Governor-elect to assemble a credible team of technocrats and policy makers with vast experience into the governance of the State so as not to dash the high expectations and the goodwill as demonstrated by the electorates in electing him.
She also felicitate with the Leaders of the Party and major stakeholders and the entire APC family for relentlessly working round the clock to secure the landmark victory for the party in the State.
