The group was formed over the last two (2) decades by Chief Richard Asaje with some reputable individuals/public intellectuals who rarely flinch from whatever they consider to be their responsibility and not under the control of a higher level of government but subject to the overall legal order of the state..
Members are grouped together from different work of life/ different political backgrounds and place greater emphasis on ideas and general principles despite the dire consequences for articulating opposition..
Since the formation of the group,we work with LGA’s,State, Federal and the general masses to advise on and provide improvement support to ensure that the values and interests of our members and the general masses are represented, taking into account collective goals..

We are only exercising our pivotal role in shaping the state future.. During the last governorship election, we rally round Hon Leke Abejide by proxy and was supported wholeheartedly based on his unprecedented achievements and for the fact that Kogi West/Okun extraction have been marginalized since the creation of the state ..HE Hon Leke Abejide is not our leader in the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group,we have no godfather, but God the Father, and by the special grace of God,no looking/going back on the process to secure the future of our dear state..
We must collectively rise to reclaim Kogi to take its place in the comity of state..
