By Amuda Dan Sulaiman Fab

The Zinariyan Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has admonished all Nigerians to work together to build a society that is just, equitable, and peaceful.

The charge was contained in a statement she signed in Abuja on Sunday night to mark this year’s celebrations of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

Aliyu noted that as the world celebrates the birthday of the Prophet, she urged Muslim faithful in the country to recommit themselves to the principles of justice, equality, and fairness that the Prophet espoused.

The statement reads: “I extend warmest greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Kogi State and Nigeria at large on this blessed occasion of Eid-el Maulud, commemorating the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

As we celebrate this significant day, let us reflect on the Prophet’s teachings of love, compassion, and kindness. May his example inspire us to strive for a life of service, humility, and forgiveness.

Dear Kogites, I wish you a joyous and peaceful Eid-el Maulud. May this special day bring us closer together as a people, and may we continue to work towards a brighter future for our great state.

May Allah bless us all with His mercy and guidance. Amin!

Congratulating the Muslim Ummah, Aliyu urged them to continue to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity of the country.
