According to him, the removal of subsidies was to eliminate the financial burden on Nigerians because the subsidy system has become a means for a small group of wealthy individuals to amass significant wealth, thus undermining the integrity of Nigeria economic and democratic institutions.

Speaking further, he said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration is of the view that removal of subsidy will increase fiscal savings, boost investment in the energy industry and promote economic diversification.

“The overarching objective is to be transparent and communicate milestones or challenges to the public expeditiously. For several reasons, exploring the impact of fuel subsidy removal in Nigeria is essential..lt’s a terrible time for the reform, but l think that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no real chance but to take these difficult steps now.. Subsidy is long over due and take a strong mind to do it and stand by it..lt must be somebody who loves Nigerians, he stressed.

Chief Asaje described the alleged threat scheming of the northern few group of people as a wakeup call for Tinubu and his government to buckle up and win back the hearts of the people. His strategic leadership and organizational skills have streamlined decision making processes and enhanced efficiency in governance.

According to him, “The northerners who pride themselves as the powerhouse of Nigeria when it comes to voting, can also accused and condemn Tinubu of appointing mostly Southerners into key government positions. The move by some people for power to return to the north in 2027 was neither illegal nor unconstitutional in the interest of national integration and to assuage the feelings of marginalization by sections of the country, it will be better to allow power to be domicile in the south for 8years..

“If the north argued that Tinubu is not performing, he brought hardship in the land, another candidate from Southern extraction should rather be backed instead of calling for power to return to the north.. lnformal power- sharing should be allowed the way it is..

“If President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from the south is not performing or eventually could not perform, then another political party who might have nominated a candidate from the south can also get it. The north should allow the presidency to be domiciled in the south for a minimum of 8 years.. Nigeria is presently facing a lot of challenges that requires all hands to be the desk and pray for wisdom and guidance on how to make life easier for it’s citizenry.

Chief Asaje is opined that what we are experiencing now is a temporary thing, the foundation that he has laid, is solid.., “As beautiful as Rome is, it was not built in a day”.. Sooner than later, the unstable price of petro will be like the issue of GSM..

Painfully, Chief Asaje implore Nigerians to sacrifice a little more for the survival of our country.. Our sacrifice shall not be in vain.. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu government will repay through massive investment in transportation, infrastructure, education, regular power supply, healthcare and other public utilities that will improve the quality of lives..
