COVID-19: Adams Bakaso Distributes Sanitisers, Other Materials, Tells Lokoja Traders What To Do

The Managing-Director, QUINCYBAKS Multi-Resources Nigeria Limited, Comrade Adams Bakaso Dan Fulani, Saturday enjoined traders in the country not to hike prices of foodstuff and other essentials in this time of global emergency.

Dan Fulani made the appeal in Lokoja the Kogi State capital while distributing 2,500 hand sanitisers, 2,500 face masks and hand gloves to market men and women in some markets.

He said there was need for all and sundry to be compansionate with one another in scaling through the challenges at this period.

The philanthropist, while lauding Governor Yahaya Bello, on the measures taken so far by the Kogi state government towards preventing spread of coronavirus in the state, said, “at this time of global emergency occasioned by coronavirus, it is important we sensitise the market women, traders and others in the informal sector of the economy on the need to imbibe hygienic practices to forestall the spread of the virus in the state.

“Governor Bello did well by directing the media unit led by the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kingsley Fawon, to take the campaign against COVID-19 to markets and create awareness about the virus among the operators in the informal sector.”

He also said the donated items were distributed to the beneficiaries in Adankolo market, Lokoja Old Market and others according to him, would get theirs soon with flyers in English and Hausa languages containing awareness messages on COVID -19 to be distributed.

Recall that, on Friday, Mar 27, 2020, QUINCYBAKS Multiply Nigeria Limited in collaboration with TeamBest Political Family embarked on sensitization and distribution of masks and other materials to some ministries in Kogi State.
