COVID 19: QUINCYBAKS,TeamBest Embark On Sensitization Campaign In Kogi

As countries worldwide scramble to contain the spread of the COVID 19 virus, a Kogi State based company, QUINCYBAKS Multi-Resources Nigeria Limited in collaboration with TeamBest Political Family have embarked on aggressive sensitization campaign in Ministries and major markets in Kogi State.

The exercise centered on the preventive measures, targeted at ensuring zero case of the virus in the state, is in line with the Kogi state government’s effort to protect the citizenry against the virus.

The enlightenment campaign kicked off at International Market, Lokoja, where a large number of market men and women received lectures on the best practices as regards to keeping a clean household after which they received free carrier bags containing hypo products, face-masks sensitizer and fliers to educate them more on Coronavirus preventive measures.

Addressing the gathering at the International Market, Lokoja, the Managing Director, QUINCYBAKS Multi-Resources Nigeria Limited, Comrade Adams Bakaso Dan Fulani noted that it was the primary intention of the company to always promote hygiene and maintain healthy lifestyle, hence the reason they are partnering with TeamBest Political Family to fight and protect Kogi against the epidemic.

He added, that although the aim was to augment the effort of the state government in that area, saying that it was also part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to contribute positively to the growth and development of the society where it operates.

Mrs. Grace Emmanuel who benefited from the free lectures and gift, commended the initiative, saying that such grassroot sensitization program will be of great impact.

When the team visited the headquarters of the Kogi State Ministry of Education Science and Technology it met with the Commissioner, Hon. Wemi Jones and some management staff where the danger of Coronavirus was unfolded to them.

The team donated thousands of face masks and sensitizer to the ministry.

Responding, Jones, thanked the visiting team for the sensitization campaign, describing it as most timely and enlightening.

“We are now better informed and will take this message to school principals to pass to their students. It’s only a healthy nation that can be prosperous “, he said.
