The governorship candidate of the Accord Party (AP), in Kogi State, Vice Admiral Usman Oyibe Jibrin Rtd, has urged Nigerians irrespective of political, ethnic and religious differences to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to enable him realise his dream of transforming the country.
Jibrin said Tinubu had demonstrated the kind of pedigree “Nigeria requires unlocking her potential at this moment in history.”
The frontline governorship candidate in an interview with our correspondent at Eagle Square in Abuja shortly after the swearing-in said he was convinced that Nigeria would witness a greater level of development and prosperity in the next four years under the Renewed Hope agenda.
He described Monday’s inauguration as a positive development and a demonstration of the collective wishes of Nigerians in yearning for a breath of fresh air in leadership across all levels.
According to him, the inauguration of Tinubu as president would usher in a new era of a transformed Nigeria that would secure, protect and cater for the welfare of all Nigerians.
The former Naval Chief recalled the days of Senator Tinubu in the National Assembly in the Third Republic and expressed optimism that the country under him would achieve a new Nigeria that would represent the hopes and aspirations of the African continent and the entire black race.
