The Maiyaki of Kupa, in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, HRH Alh Dauda Kabir Isa, has condoled with the Maigari of Lokoja Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Maikarfi IV, over the death of his late father’s, Hajiya Khadijat Kabir Maikarfi.
The eminent monarch described the deceased as a mother of substance, a beacon of hope and a disciplined mother who shaped the lives of many people around her to become productive and righteous.
The Maiyaki of Kupa expressed the condolences on behalf of the Kupa Emirate Council in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Monday.
The message reads: “I receive with great shock the passing of our late Mother, Hajiya Aduke Maikarfi, wife of our father, the Maigari Of Lokoja, late Alhaji Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi III.
“Surely, every soul shall surely test death.
“On behalf of myself and the entire Kupa Emirate, i send our condolences to His Royal Majesty, Alh. Gambo Ibrahim Kabir Maikarfi, the Maigari of Lokoja and the entire family.
“I pray Allah Subhanahwa Ta’Allah grant the family the fortitude to bear this great lost.
“And may Almighty Allah have mercy on Hajiya soul, grant her Aljanah Firdaus.

Late Khadijat Kabir Maikarfi, was the wife of the late Maikarfi of Lokoja, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi.
She passed on yesterday in Abuja following a brief illness.
