2023: Senator Adeyemi Takes Tinubu’s Campaign To Kwara, Stages Mega Walk

…as Gov AbdulRazaq harps on importance of PVCs

In continuation of his mobilization for the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Smart Adeyemi has taken his campaign to Kwara State, where he staged a Mega Walk and empowered Kogi State indigenes residing in Kwara.

He also declared support for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s second term bid.

Addressing the thousands of party loyalists and supporters at Kingstone Grand Suites in Ilorin after a Mega Walk through major streets and roads in the metropolis on Thursday, Senator Adeyemi reiterated that Nigeria deserved a leader that would tackle the socio-economic and security challenges bedevilling the nation.

He said, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the only option for Nigeria considering the current global economic challenges occasioned by the global pandemic and other issues.”

“Nigeria is on the cusp of greatness and Asiwaju is the ideal driver of greatness. Just take a look at the situation of Lagos when he became governor and that tells you all you need to know.”

The high ranking lawmaker also used the medium to sensitize voters on the need to get their PVCs ahead of the 2023 polls.

He commended the lofty achievements recorded by the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in the areas of road network, health, security, potable water supply, education, direct empowerment of the people, payment of outstanding pensions and gratuities and minimum wage of workers in the state.

Adeyemi said despite the global economic recession the governor’s landmark achievements is so visible thereby deserves a second term in order to do more, adding that he can vouch for the competence of Governor Abdulrasaq.

The veteran journalist called on party faithful to genuinely work towards the success of the APC at the polls and also encouraged the electorates to vote for the party’s candidates at all levels.

Responding, Governor Abdulrasaq commended Adeyemi for organizing the Mega Walk and empowering the party supporters in the state.

He lauded Senator Adeyemi for his contributions and his care in improving the social and economic wellbeing of the people through his consistent empowerment scheme.

“I want to thank you all for coming out in large numbers to show your support for our party’s presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and myself. I want to urge those of us who have not collected their voter’s cards to do so because without it, you cannot vote during the elections next year.

He emphasised that those who are yet to collect their cards must do so without delay, explaining that the permanent voters card remains the only instrument that could be used to vote during the election.

Abdulrasaq promised to continue to fulfil his pledges which he is known for, while asking the electorates to encourage him with their votes.

Highlight of the event was distribution of Deep-freezers, Grinding machines, Sewing machines and cash donations to over one thousand Kogi State indigenes residence in Kwara State.

Recall that Senator Adeyemi, last week distributed empowerment items worth millions of Naira to over 6000 persons in his Kogi West constituency.

The items distributed included cars, refrigerators, tillers, motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, Knapsack and water pumps for dry season farming.
