Kogi 2023: APC Youth Group Endorses Idachaba For Governor

As the race for the April 10 governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State gathers steam, a political body under the acronym ‘Coalition of Youth Support Group ‘, has endorsed Alhaji Friday Idachaba, for governor.

The group, which passed a vote of confidence on Idachaba during its consultation tour to some local government areas of Kogi State  described the him as the most experienced and competent APC aspirant to fly the party’s ticket for the forthcoming poll.

The coalition’s Coordinator Ajiboye Moses, appealed to APC youth across the state to back Idachaba’s aspiration, branding him as the best for the state among the aspirants parading themselves for the coveted seat.

Moses, who described Idachaba  as a loyal party chieftain, said: “For the continuity agenda of Governor Yahaya Bello to continue, Idachaba remains the best man to sustain this legacy. Any disconnection may affect the development focus of our dear state”.

“With his experience spanning over 10 years as a dependable and reliable contractor, we believe that he has the experience, the exposure and right connections to take Kogi to a higher pedestal banking on what Governor Bello has done as a springboard.”

Recall that Senator Abdullahi Adamu-led National Working Committee NWC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has unveiled its timetable and schedule of activities for the governorship primary elections in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states later in the year.

Idachaba, while addressing his teaming supporters  at ‘Buhari House’
National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC shortly after he obtained his nomination form,
promised that youth employment, human and infrastructure development, commercial agriculture, free and compulsory basic education, tourism development, robust healthcare delivery and reformed civil service will be the kernel and policy thrust of his administration.
