In its quest of promoting health care delivery amongst all citizens in the slums and rural communities, Mohab People’s Care Foundation, (MPCF), is organizing a one day Medical Outreach in commemoration of World Hypertension Day 2023.

According to Ali Abdullahi, who is representing the founder of MPCF, Muhammed Abubakar a.k.a Chukwuemeka, the World Hypertension Day (WHD) is a day designated and initiated by The World Hypertension League (WHL), which is itself an umbrella to organizations of 85 national hypertension societies and leagues. The day was initiated to increase the awareness of hypertension.

Abdullahi noted that this was very important because of the lack of appropriate knowledge among hypertensive patients.
