The governorship candidate of the Accord Party (AP), in Kogi State, Vice Admiral Usman Oyibe Jibrin Rtd has congratulated Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, over his nomination as a minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Jibrin in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Wednesday described Audu’s nomination as worthwhile.
While commending the president for the nomination, the governorship candidate said the nation would gain immensely from the wealth of experience and the depth of knowledge that Audu would bring to government.
Jibrin said: “He is a man of ideas who will deliver in any ministry where he is posted.
“It is time for the nation to benefit from his large capacity to perform which he demonstrated as an Executive Director of Stanbic IBTCB.”
National Watch reports that Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, is one of the 47 ministerial nominees currently undergoing screening at the Senate.
