The Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Yahaya Bello on Special Projects, Hon. Ibrahim Itodo, in collaboration with the United Progressive Political Parties (UPPP), have commended the Governor for his efforts at putting smiles on the faces of Kogi people.
The SSA who made the disclosure in Lokoja while fielding questions from newsmen, described Gov Bello as the best Governor the State has ever had, expressed appreciation for the recent rehabilitation of the Lokoja Water Works by the Governor and execution of projects across the state.
Itodo applauded Gov. Bello for touching lives of the people in many positive ways, describing the transformation in the State as unprecedented in history.
The SSA listed the construction of roads, the flyover bridge, building of GYB Model Science Secondary Schools, the repositioning of the State specialist hospital as uncommon transformation in the State.
On his own part, Chairman of the UPPP Mallam Bala Abdulgafar Dirisu,
who commended Gov Bello for the restoration of water supply to Lokoja and it’s metropolis, appealed to the general public to make use of it with care and maintain absolute responsibilities of government property.
He further commended the Governor for being an embodiment of true leadership and a pacesetter with his constant display of love and empathy to the people of the state, particularly the downtrodden who are in the most critical state of vulnerability.
Dirisu expressed delight with the numerous people-oriented projects across the three senatorial district including the construction of over 50 rural roads.
“Today as members of UPPP, we are happy to have Alhaji Yahaya Bello as our Governor, given his achievements so far is a vindication of our struggle for the evolution of a new Kogi.
