2023:  Kogi LG APC Stakeholders Vow To Deliver Ododo

As Kogi State prepares for November 11, 2023 governorship election major stakeholders in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi Local Government Area who converged in Koton-Karfe on Sunday for a crucial meeting said they would mobilize and ensure that the Governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is impressively voted for in the area to win the gubernatorial election.

Speaking with journalists at the end of the Stakeholders meeting held at the LG Secretariat, the Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu; ‘’We  will not just deliver but to deliver very impressively. Of cause that gives us responsibility to work very hard, so we have a long strategy session.

‘’That in the person of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, we have committed and dedicated ourselves to the campaigns, we intend to mobilize, our leaders,  our youth, our students,  our women and everyone in Kogi Local Government Area to vote APC. In due cost we intend that the meeting greeting and the details will be made public.’’

Bashir Gegu pointed out that.’’ Since our federal constituency is the second largest registered voters in the state, we intend to mobilize everyone of the voters to vote our party. That is the revolution of the leadership of APC in Kogi LGA.’’

Earlier, the party’s leader, Hon Saidu Salihu Akawu,, who is also the Galadima of Koton-Karfe said the election is very near and they are expected to be proactive.

He said, ‘’We are working ahead of time to be proactive and to sensitise our people on the need to vote our candidate. Luckily for us, we  have landmarks which we can point at. We are just meeting as a party to strategize and plan ahead of our elections.

In attendance at the well attended meeting, are; the local government council Chairman, Alhaji Ali Dauda, the Chairman, Civil Service Commission,  Barrister Tanko Musa Osuku and a host of party chieftains.
