The immediate past Senator who represented Kogi West, Senator Smart Adeyemi, has congratulated the just sworn-in Ministers on their appointments emphasizing the importance of efficiency and transparency in guiding their actions as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He urged them to uphold the principles of good governance, saying that the goal is to ensure that their decisions are well-informed, just, and in the best interest of the people.
Adeyemi conveyed his congratulatory message to the newly appointed ministers in a chat with National Watch Tv at his Maitama, Abuja residence on Monday.
He urged them to engage in open dialogue with their constituents, actively listen to their concerns, and gather feedback to shape policies that align with the needs of the people.
Adeyemi emphasized the significance of promoting unity and inclusivity, particularly in a diverse nation. He encouraged the ministers to bridge gaps, foster a sense of belonging among all citizens, and address disparities that impede progress.
Furthermore, Adeyemi advised the ministers to demonstrate qualities of integrity, humility, and a strong work ethic. He highlighted the importance of understanding the intricacies of their portfolios and continuously seeking improvement.
Collaboration was also stressed as a key approach to effective problem-solving and policy formulation. Adeyemi encouraged the ministers to engage with government agencies, stakeholders, and each other, emphasizing that collective efforts yield better results in tackling complex issues.
