… Canvasses support for Ododo

Abdulmalik Abubakar aka Yaba Maisaka, All Progressives Congress (APC), Chairmanship aspirant for Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, says his plans and passion for development of the area are beyond party politics.
Maisaka made the assertion in an interview with National Watch Tv in Lokoja on Friday.
“I am progressive in nature; when I become the council chairman, I will be busy developing Lokoja LGA without playing party politics which will be government and residents, not party relationship.
“Our relationship will be residents and government not party politics or party relationship within our team.
“I believe my vision and plans for development will be of the interest of the people in Lokoja LGA,” he said.
Maisaka said that health, education, empowerment and social development would be his priority if elected.
According to him, hundreds of youths will be engaged in various work sectors in Agege including bakery, agriculture and security volunteers to ensure the community is safe for business.
“There are lots of wastages in Lokoja LGA; our youths are not being properly engaged, thereby increasing social vices.
“We will employ them in various segments and sectors within which emergency response number with data base capturing of youths in the area will be established.
“Together, we have started very well and we shall continue to strive hard to sell our mission of greater change and bring relief to our people in Lokoja LGA,” he said.
On the forthcoming governorship election in the state, the chairmanship aspirant called on party loyalists, leaders and all stakeholders to support the All Progressive Congress, (APC), candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the November 11th Governorship election.
Describing Ododo as a sellable candidate who will consolidate on the good work of the present administration led by Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, Maisaka admonished supporters of the party not to be distracted ahead of the polls.
He noted that, the November Governorship election should not be visualize with ethnic sentiment, but rather based on competency and candidate that will deliver for the people of Kogi State.
Maisaka reiterated the need for Women an youths across the various Local Government of Kogi State to come out en-mass and vote for APC in a bid to enjoy more dividend of democracy as demonstrated by the Yahaya Bello-led Government.
“I am urging Kogi women and youths to continue their support with the APC-led Government in our State. The good work of the present administration is highly commendable. It is on record that we have a gender sensitive governor that will reward every good deed. This is the more reason we must come out in one voice and vote for Ododo/Joel ticket in November. Victory is sure for us by the special Grace of Almighty Allah” he stated.
