The immediate past FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, on Thursday, congratulated Hon. Duro Meseko, on his emergence as the National Deputy Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Meseko was adopted as APC National Deputy Publicity Secretary during the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the ruling party in Abuja on Wednesday.
Dr. Aliyu said she believed Meseko has all it takes to take APC to a higher level publicity wise, noting that the former House of Reps member is a veteran journalist and consummate politician who comes on board with a lot of experience.
She said Meseko’s emergence as the APC National Deputy Publicity Secretary is a testament of his years of dedication and commitment to the party.
She commended the leadership of the APC for reaching the decision on the new national deputy publicity secretary, noting that the party has set a great example of internal democracy for other political parties in the country.
Dr. Aliyu tasked the new leaders of the APC to work towards unifying the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and the entire party as well as mobilising more support for the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.
