Immediate past FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has congratulated the former governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.
Dr Aliyu said that the former governor as a versatile captain, democrat, and respected political icon had made a great impact on the lives of many Nigerians.
In a goodwill message she personally signed and made available to newsmen, she describing Idris Wada as an advocate of good governance, restructuring and true federalism in Nigeria.
According to her, the former governor had used his youth and adult life to contribute positively to the politics and governance, especially in Kogi State, where he served as governor.
Dr. Aliyu commended the former Governor for his commitment to public service, describing him as the epitome of honesty, dedication and service.
“On behalf of my family, I congratulate Captain Idris Wada on his 73rd birthday. I pray that he will celebrate more years in good health,” she added.
