Kogi @ 32: UPPP Felicitates With Gov Bello, Kogites

As Kogites mark the thirty second years of it’s creation, The United Progressive Political Parties (UPPP),
has felicitated Governor Yahaya Bello, his cabinet members, and Kogites as the State turned 32 years old and mark under his Progressive administration.

UPPP in it’s felicitation message to the state Governor and the generality of the people of the state explained that Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration has raised the bar of purposeful leadership and gargantuan achievements in the state and the period under review.

According to a statement signed by the UPPP, Chairman, Mallam Bala Abdulgafar Dirisu, Governor Yahaya Bello’s major selling points are in the areas of security, education, enduring road network across the state, State of art healthcare facilities, Urban & Rural juxtaposition policy, Youths and women’s employment as well as prompt payment of workers’ salaries and training.

Dirisu noted with delight that the construction of the first-ever flyover bridge in Lokoja, President Muhammad Buhari’s public square in Lokoja, the remodeled State-owned Specialist hospital, massive road rehabilitation and reconstruction across the state, and embarkment of Rivers Niger in Lokoja are pointers to the Governor’s desire and dream to catapults it to a blissful eldorado of sustainable socio-economic growth and development.

He maintained that the Governor since he emerged as the number one citizen of the state as rekindled hope and confidence in the people through his leadership style saying it aligns with the spirit of Kogi state creation which brought about reuniting and re-union of the people who had co-existed Peaceful within a common polity for over seventy years before they were administratively separated in 1976 States creation exercise.

The UPPP enjoined the citizens to continue to provide their unwavering support and show understanding by fostering peaceful co-existence among themselves to enable the government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello to do more for them.
