The Mohab People’s Care Foundation has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Alhaji Usman Ododo following his recent victory at the Supreme Court. This ruling affirmed Ododo as the duly elected governor of Kogi State.
In a statement released by the foundation, the Chairman, Mohammed Abubakar (Chukwuemeka), praised the Supreme Court’s decision, describing it as a “triumph of justice and democracy.” He emphasized that the ruling reflected the true will of the people of Kogi State, who had overwhelmingly supported Ododo at the polls.
“We at the Mohab People’s Care Foundation celebrate this momentous occasion with Alhaji Usman Ododo and the entire people of Kogi State. His victory is a victory for all who believe in the principles of democracy and the rule of law,” Dr. Mohammed said.
The foundation also commended Ododo’s resilience and steadfastness throughout the legal proceedings, noting that his commitment to the state’s development agenda and the plight of civil servants had remained unwavering despite the challenges. Dr. Mohammed expressed optimism that the governor would now be able to fully focus on delivering on his campaign promises, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, and infrastructure development.
Mohammed also used the medium to call on all other parties to come together and join hands with Ododo to move the state to a greater heights.
Mohammed added that the state and the people should come first as such, they should keep their party and any other differences aside and focus on the development and the state should be great.
