The Zinariyan Lokoja, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his victory at the Supreme Court.
It can be recalled that on Friday, the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal filed by Murtala Ajaka, the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), challenging Ododo’s victory in the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election.
Alliyu, in a signed congratulatory message, stated that the judgment delivered by the Supreme Court attests once again to the fact that Ododo’s victory in the last election was divine.
The Zinariyan Lokoja also stressed that: “Heartiest congratulations to the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the affirmation of your mandate at the Supreme Court.
“This latest triumph is a testament to your unwavering dedication to the APC, and the good people of Kogi State in general.
“May this milestone further empower you to focus on the unity, progress and prosperity of our people, as you chart your way to a lasting legacy.
According to the statement, “the decision of the Supreme Court did not come to me as a surprise because beyond winning the election freely and fairly, I knew that Ododo’s emergence as Governor was divine.”
