According to chief Asaje, today’s judgement has put to an end the needles bickering and distractions that greeted the election.
“Once the court pronounces its stand and you pursue it up to the last stage, once this is done, the game is over and we prepare for the next round of elections.
Speaking further, he said, God gives power to whoever He wants and at the time HE wants.
He calls on the opposition in Kogi State to sheathe the sword, and work for development of the State..
“This Supreme Court decision lays to rest the tussle over the governorship of Kogi State and removes all encumbrances on the path of the governor from fully delivering the dividends of democracy to the good people of the State.
“Members of the “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group will continue to partner with and support the kogi State Government to deliver prosperity and progress to the people of the State. Kogi State can now look forward to a period of stability and progress under the present administration..he said.
Whoever is not prepared to lose is not a civilized candidate, no amount of certainty will give you a 100% . No amount of abuses, hatred and hate speeches can give or deny one power.
“Alhaji Murtala Ajaka has locked horns in legal battles since the governorship election in November last year, the Tribunal and Appeal court have dismissed the petition against Governor Usman Ododo, today’s judgement we thanked the judiciary for standing by the truth and for not yielding to any influence.The judgement has confirmed that the petition filed by the SDP candidate, Alhaji Muri Ajaka was frivolous.
