Dr. Aliyu Commiserates With Lokoja APC Women Leader Over Father’s Death

The Minister of State for FCT, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has commiserated with the Lokoja local government chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Women Leader, Hon. Saratu Gana Mohammed, over the demise of her father, Alhaji Mohammadu Dubagari Eggan’.

Aliyu in a condolence letter on Thursday in Abuja expressed shock at the passing of Dubagari, at the early hours of Wednesday at his residence in New layout Lokoja, at the age of 83.

The Minister, who described the death of the community leader as painful, beseeched God to grant his soul Aljanna Fridaus and prayed that Allah comforted those left behind.

“I am saddened over the death of your father, Alhaji Mohammadu Dubagari.

“Please accept my condolences and through you to other members of the family and relations left behind by elder Dubagari.

“The passing of our parents can be painful indeed. No matter how old they may be, we never wanted them to leave. I have been through this and so I know how hurtful it is,” Aliyu said.

She said she knew how close the APC Women Leader was to her father and the remarkable influence he had on her.

Aliyu, however, said that it was necessary to thank Almighty Allah that elder Dubagari lived to an advanced age, served his people, Nigeria and humanity meritoriously.

“He was an excellent human being, a deeply religious man who provided them exemplary leadership.

“His passing is no doubt a huge loss to Lokoja, Kogi State and indeed Nigeria,” she said.

She added that she was glad that late Dubagari left behind wonderful children who had also gone on to serve the state and the country well in various capacities.
