Members of the Kogi State chapter of Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, in an out pouring of joy for the victory of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo at the Supreme Court have held a Get- together party for the governor.
The victory party was held at Chief Richard Aseje’s palace in Obajana on Saturday.
Chief Richard Asaje, an elder statesman man who doubles as the National Coordinator of “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, in a heartwarming display of camaraderie joined members of the noble group in celebrating the victory.
In his reception speech, Aseje, said, “We are happy that HE Governor Usman Ododo eventually won the last battle to remain in government house, a victory for all Kogite..It is the Lord’s doing, so many ran away during the court crisis, but at “Like Minds”, we have shown everyone that Ododo is going to win in all our write-ups/ articles and in action..,we seldom think farther ahead ,we thank God for answering our supplication..Ododo is cute, reserved & understand that power belongs to the people and has geared all his policies towards the upliftment of kogi people.
Continuing he said, “we have every reason to rejoice with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and Kogites in general, why ? Governor Usman Ododo is slowly and steadily laying a strong foundation to translate his vision into reality in kogi state. Even the opposition will not argue that Ododo came prepared to govern Kogi.
He stressed further that on the decisions so far taken by Governor Ododo, he has displayed full commitment to the affairs of kogi to ensure that things were working to plan to meet the needs of people.. Since Ododo came to power, he has shown exemplary and top notch leadership in kogi State..
Hon Gani, a leader of the group, in a joyous mood, heartly rejoiced with Governor Ododo over his victory and commended him for his ability to systematically set the positive direction for his administration, especially in his choice of people to work with him/inclusive governance and assured that members of the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group shall continue to give him the necessary support to succeed.. The people of kogi have seen that Governor Ododo can actually work for the people,he said.
Members of the group expressed great joy , saying Governor Ododo is already delivering the dividends of democracy and it is visibly seen across the state.. Governor’s Ododo victory had positioned the state government on a progressive path for the achievement of enhanced and even socioeconomic development..they added..
It was a joyous celebration at the palace of Chief Asaje, as members dine and wine together.
In a closing remark, Chief Asaje urged other contenders to collaborate with and support Governor’s Ododo policies for the betterment of the State..I’m convinced that the governor has proven that he has a vision and knows the path towards realizing it.Ododo is a transformer that the kogi people have seen in this generation..
