2023: I’m Still Consulting On My Senate Ambition — Wambai

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State,
Alhaji Abdulkarim Usman Isah Wambai, has said he was still consulting with relevant leaders and stakeholders in Kogi West senatorial district on his senate ambition for 2023.

Wambai, at a meeting yesterday in Lokoja, with some key supporters, assured them that the call on him to run for Senate to represent Kogi West in 2023 was being considered and a decision will be taken by the end of March.

He said: “I am grateful to my teaming followers and key supporters in Kogi West senatorial district who have been putting pressure on me to declare for the Senate. Please, I urge you all to remain focused. I can assure you that my consultation is ongoing and by the grace of God by March ending I will make my decision known to you and the people of Kogi West.”

He further disclosed that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, will surely produce the Senator for Kogi West in 2023 and called on APC members and electorates in the district to prepare for the election.

He appealed to Nigerians to live in peace and unity and described the senseless killings by suspected herdsmen in the North and parts of the country which must stop now as an unforgivable sin before God.
