Supporters and members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Thursday accompanied Chief Mrs. Adedoyin Ibikunle Eshanumi to the party’s headquarters in Abuja for the submission of her expression of interest and nomination forms to run for senate seat on the platform of the party in Kogi Western Senatorial District
The crowds were chanting sai Eshanumi, describing her as “a humanitarian and a philanthropist of repute.”
Eshanumi was accompanied by party chieftains from Kogi West; key political associates; friends, and well-wishers to the party’s national secretariat.
Addressing newsmen atfer the submission of the forms, Eshanumi, who is the only female senatorial aspirant in Kogi State thanked Governor Yahaya Bello and the leadership of the APC in the state for their consistent support.
Eshanumi, who commended her supporters across the zone for their support promised that her representation will be predicated on leadership, competence, capacity and compassion and will restore hope to the zone and fulfill the long neglected aspirations of the people.
She asked the people to support her aspiration and be rest assured that her representation will be about service which will reposition the zone and empower the people.
