2023: Any Kogi NNPP Candidate Involved In Anti-Party Would Be Sanctioned – State Chairman warns

The Kogi State Chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, has warned candidates of the party, that if anyone is caught engaging in anti-party activities and exhibit tendencies of campaigning for candidates of other political parties other than the NNPP, such person(s) will be sanctioned in line with rules of engagement.

NNPP in a press statement issued on Monday in Lokoja by its State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Musa Audu Dankano
said the party observed with a dismay attitude some candidates of the party who are engaging in anti-party activities.

“It has come to the attention of the State working committee (SWC ) of the Kogi State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP) with great nostalgia the attitude of some of our party flagberers who are engaging in anti-party activities. Our investigation revealed that some of our candidates are planning to sell their mandates to other party candidates.

“We were told some have even started working for other candidates.

“Consequently, the party is monitoring closely the activities of all its members and warns that if anyone is caught engaging in anti-party activities and exhibits tendencies of campaigning for candidates of other political parties other than the NNPP such person(s) will be sanctioned inline with our rules of engagement.

“The SWC wishes to remind such party members and candidates that such negative acts constitute anti-party conduct and at the same time destroy the cohesive unity of the party and undermine the painstaking efforts by the SWC to stabilise the party.
