Kogi West 2023: Wambai Visits Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Fed Constituency APC Stakeholders, Promises Quality Representation

An aspirant for Kogi West Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Hon Abdulkarim Usman Isah Wambai, has pledged to bring quality representative, legislative and oversight benefits to bear on his constituents if given the mandate in 2023.

Wambai made the pledge while declaring his aspiration to contest for Kogi West senatorial seat at the party’s zonal Office in Kabba, when he visited APC stakeholders from Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency, on Monday.

Addressing thousands of party members, supporters and friends who thronged the venue of the event, the aspirant said the need to improve the socio-economic well-being of the people and bring development to the area informed his decision to vie for the seat.

He said he has thrown his hat in the ring with a burning desire to provide quality leadership that will take Kogi West to another level of development, in addition to bringing the dividends of democracy right to the doorsteps of the electorate.

He promised to better the lot of the people whose interest he has at heart, and reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the better days are brought back again.

“I am here to solicit for your support so that, together, we can make this constituency the envy of others,” he said.

Wambai also said he would fully harness the potentials of the human and material resources the zone is endowed with, in order to achieve meaningful human and capital development.

He said the job of representing the people requires someone with capacity, commitment, credibility and experience.

In their separate remarks, the APC Zonal Chairman, Chief John Anjorin, reiterated the need for the party members to embrace those who have proven themselves, not only to be loyal party men, but who are true progressives; while a leader of the party in Ijumu LGA, Chief Solomon David, described the quest of ‘Wambai For Senate’ as a divinely inspired move to liberate the people of the senatorial district.

In continuation of it’s consultation, NationalWatch learnt the ‘Wambai For Senate’ campaign train has proceeded to Yagba Federal Constituency.
