Ahead of the upcoming party primaries, a leading leading House Reps aspirant for the Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituecy under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), and the Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd), has called on delegates of the party across the Federal Constituecy to think about the next generation and not instant gratification while casting their votes for their preferred candidates.
He also urge the delegates to vote for aspirants with the requisite “competence and character” who will make the system work for the generality of the citizenry.
Omodara made the call in an interview with journalists in Lokoja, the Kogi State Capital, reminding the delegates that their choice of candidates can “make or mar” their future.
He said, “As you prepare to cast your vote in the soon coming primary elections, think about the next generation and not instant gratification.
“Reflect on the future and not the now, think about shared prosperity, think about widows, orphans and vulnerable people, think about us not I”, he admonished.
“Vote for people with the requisite competence and character to make the system work for you. Take heed that no money bag politician lead you astray.
“Remember that your choice of candidates can make or mar our future.Together we can change the narratives for the common good of our people”, Omodara stressed.
