A Frontline Governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Kogi State, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has congratulated the newly elected members of the Kogi State House of Assembly on the platform of the APC, over their resounding victories at the just concluded election.
Prince Audu specifically urged them to roll up their sleeves for the task ahead to justify the confidence reposed in them.
Shuaibu, who is the son of late Prince Abubakar Audu sympathized with three APC candidates who lost the election, urging them to be strong in defeat and hope for better days.
According to him, the expectation of the people from the elected officers is high; hence they must work together to attract better dividends of democracy to the people and give them a sense of belonging.
Prince Audu appreciated all the APC leaders and loyalists for the great efforts put up towards the success recorded during the election.
He affirmed that the goodwill of some party leaders gave APC an edge during the election.
He promised to deliver dividends of democracy if elected as governor of the state.
