2023: I’ll Attract Federal Presence To Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Constituency — Edoka

As the 2023 general election draws near, House of Representatives aspirant of the Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Onuh Edoka, has promised to attract federal presence to the constituency if elected.

Speaking to newsmen at Ankpa Local Government Area, Kogi State on Wednesday, shortly after he paid a consultation visit to APC women and youths groups, lamented that the Ankpa/ Omala/Olamaboro federal constituency was in dire need of federal presence.

Edoka who is currently the Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, said his decision to run for the position stemmed from his desire to attract development to the area.

He promised to initiate legislation that would impact positively on the people of the constituency if elected, especially “laws that will lead to creation of jobs as well as strengthen our infrastructure.”

He said he was determined to focus on the needs “of our people through educational bills to standardize the educational sector, constant agricultural programmes to improve the agricultural sector, sustainable human capital development, improved access to health care services as well as prompt and equitable execution of projects in all the communities in Ankpa/Omala/ Olamaboro federal constituency.

“I have done several consultations and the outcome of that consultation is that the constituency is desirous of a change and that change is what I am going to give to the people come 2023 and also, to ensure that projects that are meant for them will be executed according to purpose and not for personal aggrandizement”.
