In Kogi politics, Hon James Faleke joined Kogi politics after the party primary election, and ofcourse he was working with Audu’s Think- tank team/ reliable political leaders of thought in 2015… Going by the APC party arrangement to dislodge Kogi PDP government,he was nominated as deputy Governor to Late Prince Abubakar Audu , the APC party Governorship candidate in 2015..an election won by Prince Abubakar Audu before the election results were convincingly announced by lNEC in favor of APC .Prince Abubakar Audu’s death led to the option of Alhaji Yahaya Bello by the party National Secretariat ,/( effort of late Justice Ocholi) despite the fact that GYB did not contribute much to APC party victory in 2015…
A quick glance at history reveals that in 2019 ,Hon James Faleke been the deputy Governor to late prince Abubakar Audu became the leader of Audu Faleke Political family and the group supported GYB for second term on a strong agreement that GYB will hand over power to an Okun man in 2023 ..
Amazingly, Yahaya Bello imposed his cousin Ododo and handover APC ticket to a man from Kogi Central unjustly without minding whose ox is gored…
